Senior Squad Review 2006

GERRARD HAY (Roly)

A huge asset to this season’s

squad, not only in terms of consistently

good performances, but importantly

the dimension he offered with his input

into warm-ups.

He has the ability to be come

an integral part of the Green Machine

for many seasons to come.

EMMETT CONNOLLY (EC)

There is only one EC! If you

missed the kit he wore to the final game

of the season at Papatoetoe just look

here!

A proud Narra man who is

widely respected, along with his wife

Rose, for his contribution to the 1st

Team.

RICHARD HARRIS

Richard should be retained in

the squad for his after-match antics

alone! He has teamed up with Gordon

Glen Watson in a co-coaching role with

frequent appearances in the defensive

line of the Green Machine.

His playing experience at

higher levels has been invaluable to the

youngsters in the team.

< STANLEY WAIATA (The Man)

Stanley may well have been

the difference between promotion and

mediocrity - a privilege to play alongside

and watch.

Having only played in half the

games he ended up as the team’s top

scorer. He is settling in well into the

Waikato with his young family and will

be welcomed back to Narra in 2007

after what we hope will be a successful

summer season with Waikato FC.

DANIEL TOULSON >

Daniel had limited game time this season due to Hamilton Boys’ High

School commitments. He was selected for the New Zealand Secondary Schools side,

an indication of his growing talent.

He will hopefully be a big part of the Narra squad next season alongside an

exciting group of youngsters.
