SIMON MOORE
Without question the Most
Improved Player of 2006.
Brute strength and pace to
burn will provide many a nightmare for
opposing defenders in the coming
years.
His good eye for goal may see
his development as a striker in the very
near future.
GORDON GLEN WATSON (GGW)
The Rock! An outstanding
contribution, both in a playing capacity
and a coaching role.
He leads by example and won
over the Narra faithful with his
commitment to the cause.
He has been rewarded by the
Waikato FC in gaining a role with the
Academy side, no doubt to pass on
some playing tips.
He would still, however,
comfortably foot it in the Summer
League based on his 2006 performance.
More recently Gordon has
been appointed Media Officer for
Oceania - a huge coup.
DANIEL FIELD
Dan most certainly brought the unexpected to the team. An intelligent
thinker of the game, Daniel’s commitment to the cause might have been
undervalued by some - however ultimately he scored or played a part in some
crucial goals.
To return from Australia at the business end of the season and help out
cannot be understated.
NILS REARDON
The Rough Diamond. Some
outstanding early-season form was
hampered by injury later on in the
season.
Enough quality was justifiably
recognised in his call-up to the Waikato
FC summer franchise team.
The whole club will follow his
progress with keen interest, proud in
the knowledge that he is a Narra man
through and through.
THE GANG
Aside from the
1st Team, a huge thanks
is extended to the everpresent
regulars - Max,
Joe, Chuck, Jeff, Terry,
Rose, Roscoe, Debbie,
Susan, Glen, Tui, Tia,
Shaye, Ben, Peter, Hutch,
Simon, Wayno, Big Joe
and. of course, Les our
loyal helmsman.
