A QUICK CATCH UP WITH
BRAD BINDER
Q: How have you kicked back into
gear training-wise and how does your
current training differ from what you
were doing in Moto2?
A: The training never really stopped at
all, the only thing that was challenging
was the riding obviously. So, at
the moment I’ve been trying to ride as
much as possible, to try get as much
time on the bike as I can, just to try to
get into that real riding fitness that I
had before and that’s all come back
already and I feel quite comfortable
on the bike.
For the MotoGP bike, I’ve been trying
do a little more strength work, try pick
up a little bit more weight and get a
little bit stronger. So far, I’ve picked
up almost 4kgs from the end of the
Moto2 season last year. I find the
MotoGP bikes to be super physical
compared to the Moto2 and it’s going
to take some getting used to.
