15I couldn’t believe it! All my life I thought I was an ordinary teenage girl. Butthen I discovered I had superpowers. Let me explain…Keke’s my name. I am sixteen years old. I am a student at MogoditshaneSenior School. I have 1 friend and I’m probably the biggest weirdo at school.My birthday is on the 24th of July, a day I used to call the worst day of my life.Wonder why? Well the answer is easy; it’s a day that made me miss my mothermore than any other. My mother died when I was three years old; so, I canhardly remember her. And what’s the point of living without her, a half of me?I woke up early that unwanted morning, 0600 am, 24/07/19. My big brotherKevin lives away from home, in Phakalane. He always video calls me, aboutevery two weeks. So, he was the first to wish me a happy sweet 16. Soon afterthat, my father tried to cheer me up by singing to me and cooking me a nice hotbreakfast. For a split second, I felt okay.Well the second passed; I have to get back to my normal routine. I put on myuniform and went off to wait for the school bus. On the way, I started tofeel a little lightheaded. “Maybe I had a cold or something,” I thought tomyself. Still I kept on walking. I arrived just on time. When I got in, therewas a soft buzzing sound. I figured it was because there were a fewpeople who were chatting but then a strange thing happened. I startedhearing loud voices in my head. As I passed each person, the voicesgot stronger and stronger, along with it came excruciating pain. Ithrew myself down on my usual seat at the back of the bus. WasI going crazy? Well I sure thought so because this isn’t normal.What the hell was going on in my head?
