Sail from Los Angeles, south along the

Pacific, thru the Panama Canal and back to

Fort Lauderdale via the Caribbean. Learn about this

historic 48-mile waterway in Panama that connects the

Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean.

DAY 1•OMAHA/LOS ANGELES

Our winter escape begins with transfers to Omaha and

flight to Los Angeles. Overnight Los Angeles, CA

DAY 2•BOARD THE EMERALD PRINCESS (B, D)

After a leisurely morning, we transfer to the port to

board the beautiful Emerald Princess. The attentive

service from the friendly Princess staff will make you

feel right at home.

DAY 3 & 4•AT SEA (B, L, D)

Enjoy two days at sea where you can de-stress.

Explore the ship's swimming pool, boutiques, and spas.

You will want to make sure you have your optional

shore excursions booked for our upcoming ports of call.

DAY 5•PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO (B, L, D)

The beautiful climate and palm-lined beaches of Puerto

Vallarta will call you ashore. Visit the historic Church of

the Lady of Guadalupe. Swim with the dolphins. There

are lots of fun optional excursions!

DAY 6•AT SEA (B, L, D)

Enjoy a day at sea to relax or enjoy the activities on

board such as dance lessons, culinary demonstrations,

wine tasting classes or maybe you’d like a massage or

facial at the Lotus Spa.

DAY 7•HUATULCO, MEXICO (B, L, D)

Huatulco is a tropical Eden with crystalline waters,

coral reefs, and uncrowded beaches. Its stunning bay

is famed for its “sleeping man” rock formation and

“blowhole.” Enjoy a snorkeling excursion, culinary tour,

or cultural exploration.

Once again, the choices are many. Take in an Art Auction.

Hit the Sports Court. Enjoy afternoon tea. Join in a game

of bridge. Or relax with a good book by the pool.

DAY 9•SAN JUAN DEL SUR, NICARAGUA (B, L, D)

Nicaragua has stunning landscapes, vast cultural

treasures and intriguing history. From strolling the

cobblestone streets of colonial Granada on Lake

Nicaragua to exploring one of the many volcanoes,

this port has something for even the most seasoned

traveler.

Hailed as the "Switzerland of the Americas," Costa Rica

lies between two oceans and two continents. Optional

rainforest via aerial tram, visit the capital of San Jose

Learn about the Panama Canal at an onboard lecture

or film presentation.

DAY 12•FUERTE AMADOR, PANAMA (FOR

This port is the gateway to our transit of the Panama

Canal. From here you can take excursions to tour

“Colonial Panama,” take a rail excursion along the

canal, or meet the Embera Indians.

DAY 13•PANAMA CANAL TRANSIT/COLON,

PANAMA (B, L, D)

Today enter the impressive Panama Canal thru the Mira

Flores Locks. Our early morning crossing takes us thru

the new locks!

DAY 14•CARTAGENA, COLUMBIA (B, L, D)

Steeped in history, this interesting city shows the

influences of the Spanish Empire on the New World.

Excursions offer visits to the “Old City,” San Pedro

Claver Church, Castillo de San Felipe Fortress or canoe

the mangrove tunnels and visit the National Aviary.

DAY 15 & 16•AT SEA (B, L, D)

Share stories with fellow passengers of the interesting

excursions you enjoyed in Panama and the highlights of
