DAY 2•THE MERC STORE & BAKERY/THE
MARLAND ESTATE (B, L)
We’ll be off early this morning for Pawhuska where
you’ll have time to shop all the special items picked
out by Ree Drummond of Pioneer Woman for the
Mercantile Store. Pick up a cookbook, update your
kitchenware, or try out some of her uniquely styled
clothing. Be sure to visit the bakery for some treats or
take time in the restaurant for a full breakfast! Next
stop is the Marland Estate in Ponca City. Our tour
of this beautiful & historic mansion will tell us about
the Marland family, the industry that made the estate
possible and the “oil boom-town” that rose from it
all. A light catered lunch is included. We’ll continue
on to Oklahoma City today. Our hotel this evening
offers appetizers and drinks. You may want to take the
shuttle to Bricktown for dinner on your own. Overnight
Oklahoma City, OK
DAY 3•OKLAHOMA CITY NATIONAL MEMORIAL
(B, D)
The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is
a moving experience and a testament to the resolve
and fortitude of those who wanted to honor those who
were killed, those who survived and those changed
forever by the bombing in 1995. The museum shares the
timeline of events of April 19, 1995, plus the aftermath
and healing that began to take place. Next, it’s on to
Waco! Our late afternoon arrival gives us time to checkin
and head out to dinner. Overnight (2) Waco, TX
DAY 4•WACO TOUR/SHOPPING (B)
It’s time to get acquainted with Waco and see many of
the sights we have grown to know from “Fixer Upper.”
See the Magnolia Silos, Harp Design, the Suspension
Bridge, Baylor University, Common Grounds, and
drive by a few of the Fixer Upper homes on our city
tour with a local guide! Now that you know the layout
of the town, it’s your time to explore. Hop the local
The Mercantile
trolley and get shopping! Whether you are a browser
or a buyer, it will be sure to be fun. Shop at Magnolia
Market, The Finery, Spice Village, Wildland Supply
Co., Sironia, Covet Apparel, and more! Choose from
one of the many restaurants downtown for dinner with
your friends.
DAY 5•POPS/ WICHITA (B, L)
It’s time to turn the coach back north today as we begin
our journey home. We’ll have plenty of space for your
packages! Our lunch break will be a little later today
as we’ll be stopping at Pops in Arcadia, OK. You won’t
believe it until you see it! This popular stop along Route
66 has a collection of 700 kinds of soda, sparkling
waters and other ice-cold refreshments! The display is
amazing! We’ll take time for lunch at their café where
you can choose from an all-American menu of burgers,
hot dogs and sandwiches. Overnight in Old Town
Wichita, KS
DAY 6•HOME (B)
Before heading for home we take time to enjoy a
specialty tea & coffee company along with a stop
at Nifty Nut House, a definite must for any visitor to
