Thanks to its futuristic architecture, open design and use of natural resources such as light and air, the Sony Center is a symbol of the culture of change in Berlin - and has long since become an internationally renowned landmark of the capital. The Sony Center was opened as a trend-setting building complex that combines working, living, entertainment and retail under one roof. Today, with its spectacular, light-flooded roof construction and thanks to a wide range of cultural activities and ultra-modern office space, it is well established in the capital. ATRIZIA AG has sold a portfolio of seven retail properties for 96 million euros to the real estate investment company Captiva. The portfolio is leased longterm and 100 percent to the DIY chain OBI and has a total rental space of 71,000 square meters. The sale follows the conclusion of several lease extensions for the portfolio. Securing the long-term future The average remaining term of the rental agreements has thus been extended to 12.9 years. The properties are located at established sites in Vechta, Neuss, Schwelm, Siegen-Weidenau, Haiger, Pirna and Stadtbergen.
