POOL GUIDE

ATTENTION JCC OF SYRACUSE MEMBERS:

Please remember to use your membership card to enter the building on Saturdays and access the pools. Don’t have

a membership card? Stop by the Main Entrance reception desk, call 315-445-2360 or email info@jccsyr.org.

Welcome JCC Members

The 2020 outdoor

swimming season

is finally here!

We can’t wait to

welcome you back

to our outdoor

heated pools. In

addition to the late start this year due to

the coronavirus pandemic, you’ll notice a

variety of changes designed to help ensure

your health and safety. Yes, things will be

quite different this year. However, we are

confident that you will still have plenty of

opportunities to enjoy the water and sun.

As with the rest of the JCC, our top

priority is to open the pool in the safest

way possible. The pool’s capacity will be

reduced to accommodate current health

regulations. We’ve also adjusted pool hours

slightly to accommodate more frequent

cleaning. Specifically, please note this

year’s following new health and safety

protocols.

• Please make reservations in

advance to use the pool to prevent

overcrowding. Visit bit.ly/resjccpool

to make a reservation.

• All swimmers will undergo a health

check before being permitted in the

pool area. Anyone with a fever of

100.4° F or higher or symptoms of

illness will not be permitted to stay.

Tuesdays

Thursdays

AQUA FITNESS

IN THE JCC’S OUTDOOR HEATED POOL

8:15–9:00 am

8:15–9:00 am

• Social distancing with lounge chairs/

tables to keep families separate.

• Time in between reservations

to allow for cleaning of chairs/

equipment.

• Staff/lifeguards will wear masks.

• Specific times for semi-private and

private swim lessons so there will

be no mixing with recreational

swimming.

Make the most of your membership by

using the pool to its fullest this summer.

Come swim after work, on weekends with

family and friends or after early morning

workouts. Incorporating the pool into your

personal fitness training will add a new

dimension to your exercise routine.

Like last year, we’re offering semiprivate

and private learn-to-swim lessons.

However, all group swimming lessons

have been canceled due to the coronavirus

pandemic. See page 3 for details.

Because the JCC pool is a membersonly

benefit, please remember to bring

your membership card to the pool and

check-in at the lifeguard desk upon

entering the pool area. If you have any

questions or comments regarding the pool,

please contact us at 315-445-2360. Thank

you for being a JCC of Syracuse member.

We hope to see you pool side!

• Everyone welcome!
