Dubai World

Trade Centre

Renowned as the Middle East’s premier trade

and exhibition centre, Artech Lighting was

selected to provide lighting products for meeting

spaces and conference rooms.

The project was designed to the highest

specification, utilising Artech’s SoftLine and Tenus

products throughout.

Our high-quality energy efficient products helped

exceed the customer’s stringent energy targets.



The University

of Edinburgh


Artech Lighting was commissioned by

construction giants Balfour Beatty to supply a

solution to illuminate the award-winning student

accommodation, Holyrood North Residence Hall,

at Edinburgh University.

The state-of-the-art development opened its doors in

2016, claiming the coveted ‘Best University Halls of

Residence’ honour, at the Property Week Student

Accommodation Awards.

Each bedroom in the development is fitted with Artech

Lighting’s interior Crescent surface lights and energy

efficient LED FlowLine product. Artech also designed

and installed suspended energy efficient LED FlowLine

lighting systems in the main reception, halls and

common rooms.

Idol Lane

An architecturally outstanding property, the

redevelopment of 2 Idol Lane includes an

extension and extensive refurbishment by

London & Oriental, providing new Grade A

office space.

The development has been completed to the highest

specification, incorporating Artech Lighting’s innovative

and stylish Magna downlights throughout.

Recessed FlowLine lights also feature throughout the

individual offices, meeting the developers’ target of

creating something as sustainable and energy efficient

as possible.



44 Whitfield Street

This incredible contemporary office space in the

West End of London spans six floors and boasts

panoramic views of the vibrant business and arts

district of Fitzrovia.

Artech Lighting provided lighting solutions across the

project, utilising LED lighting throughout.

This project includes Artech’s popular Surface

FlowLine, which have been designed specifically for

the modern workplace and run throughout each the

office units.


Artech also fitted the site out with Magna downlights

in the reception hall and its minimalist design wallmounted

LED FlowLine M fixtures.

Location House

183 Eversholt Street in Central London is owned

by Location House and designed to be a fullyreimagined

contemporary space, complete with

a mezzanine area for businesses operating in the

creative sector.

With distinctly modern measures, the property has

exposed metal structure and ceilings designed to

provide a slick, industrial feel. Windows on both sides

provide abundant natural light, complemented perfectly

by Artech Lighting’s recessed FlowLine S systems, as

well as custom-built suspended products.

Artech worked with JDA on the project, providing

bespoke design, manufacture and installation support

from the outset.



BRITISH ISLAMIC MUSEUM


Charting the history of cultural and artistic

interactions between East and West, this awardwinning

exhibition was launched to shine a

light on the impact the Islamic world has had on

western art for centuries.

Located in the world renown Bloomsbury area of

London, The British Museum is one of the largest and

most comprehensive in the world, attracting more

than five million visitors every year and containing an

estimated eight million works of art.

Artech were selected by the contractor Si Electrical

to supply the project with its specialist tuneable white

Microdot solution for the discreet uplighting solution in

the gallery spaces.

WELLINGTON PLACE

Spearheading the redevelopment of the Leeds

West End, Wellington Place is a BREEAM

‘Excellent’ Grade A office complex.

The overall vision of developer and asset manager

MEPC is to create a stimulating, safe and distinctive new

urban quarter for Leeds - a vibrant community where

people will want to live, work and play.

Working with the design team which included Arups,

Sheppard Robson and Leeds based CSD, Artech

developed a lighting design which significantly reduced

the number of lighting fixtures required and the overall

energy usage in the building.

Artech supplied over 1500 Softline Fixtures to the main

office areas as well as its Tenus, Flowline, Prolight and

Orbis product. Artech also designed and developed

a bespoke fixture to meet the architects specific

requirements in the restrooms.



PORSCHE GREAT BRITAIN

Artech lighting were selected by CER Electrical to

provide specialist staircase lighting in a number

of UK showrooms and dealerships for premium

German sports car marque Porsche.

Each of the fit-outs were completed to the highest

standards, using Artech Nastro LED fixtures and

profiles. The product supplied included colour variants

in 3000k and Red to create the effects required by the

design team.

POLLEN STREET CAPITAL

Transforming one of Mayfair’s premier gardened

areas, Hannover Square is a 221,200sq ft mixeduse

BREEAM Excellent development, situated on

the new Bond Street Crossrail station.

The development will provide 167,200sq ft of new

office space across two buildings, with new pedestrian

access to Hanover Square, a new public realm,

31,200sq ft of prime retail fronting New Bond Street and

six residential units.

Leading specialist fit out contractor City Electrical

Systems appointed Artech to develop a solution to

meet the design and efficiency parameters specified

by their client on thids prestigious project. Artech

provided a complete turnkey solution including design,

manufacture and supply of the lighting solutions for this

project, using their Pelusa, Infra and Tenus downlights

to provide variation and differentiation to the different

spaces. They also supplied their standard Flowline

product as well as some bespoke Flowline fixtures for

reception and meeting spaces.



Crown place London


Home to leading UK merchant banking group

Close Brothers, 10 Crown Place is a stunning

eight-storey office development in the heart of

the City of London.

Close Brothers required a state-of-the-art, energy

efficient lighting solution in its new UK head office and

- via the specialist contractor City Electrical Systems

- Artech Lighting was procured to provide a scheme

which matched the brief.

Artech worked closely with City Electrical Systems and

developed a solution comprising its Nitor Slim, Nitor

IP65, Infra and Tenus downlights as well as bespoke

length Flowline fixtures to co-ordinate with the architectdesigned

decorative ceiling. This was complimented by

Artech’s track-mounted Tenus fixtures.

IRR

The University of Edinburgh’s Institute of

Regeneration and Repair (IRR) is a world-class

research facility studying the process of tissue

regeneration and repair.

Built by Balfour Beatty and designed by architect

Stantec, the stunning 4-storey centre offers scientists

and students access to a plethora of seminar and

exhibition spaces, a café and a decorated courtyard as

well as a dedicated ‘collaboration zone’.

Artech was chosen as the preferred lighting supplier

by Balfour Beatty to provide energy efficient, innovative

lighting solutions for the development. This included

product from our standard range of UK manufactured

products including Flowline, Tenus, Prolight, Orbis and

Emline fixtures which are fitted throughout the facility.

Artech also designed and manufactured a bespoke

feature reception light in conjunction with leading

Edinburgh Design Company 442 as well as bespoke

fixtures for the refectory area.
