This is

not good, need

to rally the

team!

Uber Alert!

Guys I need you

all online

immediately…

Good to

see you all…

I’m sure you know

what this is all

about?

The world

has gone into

Lockdown!

Schools,

non-essential

businesses and services

have closed until

further notice…

...With only

frontline key

workers continuing

to go to work.

Thank you for

joining us, Khwam –

I’m just explaining

the situation to the

others! are you

feeling okay?

yeah I’m okay

but my doctor has

told me that I need to

Self-Isolate due to the

Covid 19 directive for

vulnerable people. I’ll do

what I can but it

will be from home

unfortunately.

Yes, Best to stay

home and keep yourself,

and others, safe! Dominie,

Fortress and Vana are at

home sick too… So the

rest of us need to help

right away!

Veritas, I need

you and Oni to help

those who have been told

to self-isolate, as they are

not able to get out to buy

groceries or to collect

their medicines…

On it Q, we will

also make sure

our team are

okay too!

Invictus, I need you to

help everyone to understand

why we have been told to stay

home, stay safe & protect the NHS

and you will need to help them to

find new creative ways to be

active, stay positive

We all need to be

more resilient and connecting

with family and friends through

video-telephoneand apps, but the

best way they can keep well is

through helping others like

their neighbours, ensuring

they are okay!

sounds like a plan…

Leave it with me, Q as

I am more than happy to

get others involved to

help those most in need

in our local & wider

communities…

Hi, Guys!

Coroman and

Coronabot2020!

…and we have

others who will be

helping us out! I have

the pleasure of

introducing you

all to...

...Curador!

I Need you

to look at your

screens and you’ll

see who is behind

this pandemic….

It’s Like

extremely

dangerous!

The whole

world is effected by

this… they’re calling it a

pandemic! The last one

was a 100 years ago

when...

millions of

people died all over

the world from

Spanish Flu...

Whaaat….

Really, Mum is

this true?

No Sophie,

I don’t think it’s

true, they’re

teasing you!

Ignore them!

We’re in

lockdown, so we

help stop the virus

spreading. It’s just a

few weeks together,

without school or

work.

If everyone

does their part, then

the virus won’t be able

to spread so easily,

and will mean that

things can get back to

normal sooner.

Who are

you calling

a loser?

YOU ‘cause

you lost… Loser…

Loser… Loser…

Stop it! That’s

enough – no more

computer games, as

you just can’t

agree!

Don’t

worry…

And I’ll be

turning off the

internet too if you

won’t behave…

Goodness, it’s

only been a few

days and the

boredom is setting

in already!

But

everything

will be okay

Mum, won’t

it?

Who cares

anyway – I’m

bored of playing

PlayStation…

I do

hope so,

honey…

Hey

Sophie suds…

it’s time you

were asleep!

Aw why

what’s wrong,

Soph?

I just keep

thinking about

everything that

this coronavirus is

effecting, like

school…

That’s the problem,

Dad… I love school. I

haven’t seen my friends in

ages and now I don’t know

if I ever will. I didn’t even

get to say goodbye

properly.

I can’t

sleep Dad…

But Soph,

no-one’s going

to school because

of this

Lockdown.

Oh Soph, don’t

worry; you will

see your friends

when this is all

over!

But what

if that’s too

late??

I’m already missing

out on loads of stuff

that I was excited about.

Like my P7 class photo…

our end of term party and

signing each other’s

shirts…

it’s my last year

at Brookfield Primary

before I go to big

school and I don’t even

know if anyone is going

to be at the same school

as me. Daddy I just

wanted it to be

special!

Och darlin,

sometimes

life means that we

have to do things we

don’t want to do…

but think about it

this way…

just like your

Auntie Ann, we need

to do this to protect

her and others so that

we can get back to

normal sooner!

isn’t it better

to do this now so that

our behaviour helps the

Doctors and Nurses

who are trying to heal

many people of this

virus,

I’ve been

looking forward

to the final term

since I was

in P5!!

Will Auntie

Ann be safe? And

will everything

ever be back to

normal??

She will be fine,

remember some things

may change, and change

for the better, but you

don’t have to worry

about any of this!

Now try and

get some sleep...

it won’t help you to

feel better and more

positive if you’re not

sleeping…

they think

social-distancing

will kill me, but we

have plans to cause

more destruction

than they can

imagine!

Good night,

Sophie Suds.

Night, Dad…

love you

They can plan

and prepare all

they like… but I’m

just getting

started!

Sanso,

here boy!

Let’s get to

work helping

others in the

community!!

Thanks,

Guys!

Get well

soon,

Khwam!!

Here’s

some supplies,

Dominie!

Thanks,

Veritas!

Hope

this helps,

Vana!

Thank

you so

much.

You’re

Welcome,

Fortress!

Yes, the

supplies were

needed, thank

you!

Community Help Group

HARMONY

Can anyone provide spare food and

supplies for the Uberheroes to distribute?

Jake

We have some spare canned food and hand

sanitiser. We will leave it at the door for you to

collect.

Samantha

Plenty of spare toilet rolls …

Jenny

My sister and I would be happy to help!!

Some Personal

Protective Equipment

for you, this pandemic

means that hospitals, Care

Homes and Hospices need

all the PPE we can give

them…

Hi everyone,

please remember

to stay at least

two metres apart,

we need to

protect the NHS …

Social distancing

will help protect

us all!

People have been

amazingly generous;

they’ve organised online

additional help in

preparing and delivering

care packages across

the city.

Oh Curador,

thank you, we

desperately

needed these!!

Excellent

work, the more

help we can get

the better.

Maybe you could

help the keyworkers

to train the volunteers

so we can protect

everyone involved?

Will do,

Invictus!

Finished your

Homework,

Sophie?

Yes,

all done

now!

Hey suds –

I’ll be in in a minute,

but I still need to get

my outdoor clothes

off and leave them in

the garage so I don’t

bring anything bad

into the house…

DAD?!

Sophie, you

know we have to be

careful – Dad has to get

a shower before he can

touch anything or

anyone.

Mum’s right,

soph - we need

to keep us all

safe…

I know… but

I only wanted

a little hug,

Dad!

By taking all

these precautions,

Sophie, we will play

our part in helping to

stop the spread of

this virus

If we all do

what we can to try

to make sure we don’t make

even 1 other person ill, it

will be really hard forthe

virus to spread. It’s what

the experts call

the R rate.

Coroman is

using CoronaBot 2020

to spread this deadly

virus and plans to

enlist very possible

villain he can to cause

panic and fear.

Hurry up

Dad!!

I hate that

I can’t hug you

when you come

in from work.

Well you’ll

get plenty of

hugs now,

Suds!!

Coming

now!!

The number of infected people

has risen again today. People

have been asked again to stay

at home and to socially

distance when going out…

With all the measures taken it

looks like the lockdown is

helping decrease the spread

of the Virus and Lockdown

predicted to end in 2 weeks…

Dad, the TV says

it’s getting worse,

but the newspaper

and online says

the opposite…

Is it

getting

worse?

Don’t worry,

Sophie – remember

that’s why Dad gets

changed outside so we

can all stay safe so

there’s nothing for you

to worry about.

Are you

going to get

infected in work

and are we all going

to get ill too?

But who is

telling the

truth?

I’m really

scared as no one

seems to know

what is really

happening…

Good job,

guys!

it’s working!

PAGE 9

Panel 1

We see an older man being wheeled on a Hospital bed, a mask on, through a hallway to

double doors with “High Dependency Unit” noted above where a nurse stands with a folder

about to open the door.

George:

Nurse:

Where am I… Cough Cough… going now?

Hello, George… come on through to the HD unit…

Panel 2

We see a long shot of the ward were there’s extra beds and a hive of activity going on with

the doctors and nurses (PPE), and in the beds we see people looking sick, the first one is

getting turned around onto their stomach, the next one along is someone on oxygen looking

very ill and then someone in the background Incubated, as George is pushed along in the

Hospital bed. We focus on a tender moment as the nurse (also in Full PPE) touches the back

of George’s hand.

George:

Nurse:

George:

Cough Cough

George, we’ve brought you to this ward, so we can look after you and

treat you for Covid-19

I’m scared…

Panel 3

The Nurse is conscious of George now being in place beside a doctor, looking up at him, but

our focus is on the nurse turning away

Nurse:

…you’re in good hands now… they’ll look after you!

Panel 4

We see the nurse in the mirror washing her hands as we see a little of the orange virus

washing down the sink from the cuff of her full apron. Sanitiser beside sink etc. We see the

nurse thinking to herself.

Nurse:

Always need to wash thoroughly as we can’t afford to take Covid out

of here.

Panel 5

Two nurses coming through double doors in scrubs (The PPE has been removed in the Anteroom).

We see that both nurses have the marks on their faces from the PPE face masks and

visors.

Other Nurse:

These 12 hour shifts are exhausting. We really need more

staff!!

Panel 6

Same scene but Beth is now walking away waving to the other Nurse.

Beth:

Well that’s me finished, I’m going to get out of these scrubs and get

showered, I’m so looking forward to soaking in the bath when I get

back to the hotel. Bye Tracy, keep safe.

PAGE 10

Panel 1

We see a clean hotel room, just out of the bath drying her hair and in dressing gown as she

picks up her tablet.

Beth:

I needed that bath so much. Now to call home…

Panel 2

We see her looking on to her tablet on a call to her husband and 2 young daughters who are

happy to see her as they hold up their artwork, a picture of a rainbow and the older kid has

a wooden spoon and saucepan.

Kid:

Hey Mum!! My hero!! Look what we made for you we’re going to put it in the

window to show our support for the NHS…

Panel 3

Shot of Beth on bed with tablet Beth with a big smile.

Beth:

Tablet:

You’re both up late, what a lovely surprise! And I have to say that your

artwork looks wonderful! Thank you, my darlings!

And we were out clapping and banging along with everyone else in

the street – it was great, just wish you were here!

Panel 4

Similar shot to panel 2. (Not holding anything and sitting cosy on Daddy’s lap.)

Dad:

What do you want to say to Mummy?

Both:

Thank you for being so brave by working so hard and protecting us

and everyone by staying in a hotel… we miss you tons and can’t wait

to see you!!

Panel 5

We see Beth getting a little emotional as she covers her mouth as she wishes she was at

home.

Tablet:

Mum:

Can we do a Conference call with our cousins, Mum? It was so much

fun last time…

Aww I wish we could, but it’s very late – Sophie would be in bedwhere

you both should be! Maybe tomorrow, as Mummy has got to

get to bed, I’m up early again tomorrow!

Love you guys!

Tablet:

Love you too Mum, Goodnight!

Panel 6

Similar shot to the supermarket previously. Dad is coughing. We see others coughing as an

orange mist appears in the air. Others are coughing in the background too.

PAGE 11

This page following on from the last panel of Dad coughing in the supermarket is Sophie’s

nightmare unfolding. We could go abstract and not use normal panels. Perhaps something

more like ragged panels. Go for a soft style layout.

Panel 1

We see Dad sitting with Sophie (like before) as he coughs, Sophie looks worried.

Panel 2

Dad is lying on the sofa looking quite ill. Sophie looks on really worried.

Panel 3

Sophie’s Dad like he was lying on the sofa but this time we see him in a hospital bed and on

a ventilator. We see Sophie crying and confused.

Panel 4

We see Sophie along with a crowd all wearing black, all looking sad. Her family around her

Panel 5

Exact same shot of Sophie but now everyone is gone except Sophie standing alone crying.

Panel 6

We see Sophie wake up dramatically crying and in confusion. In the corner of the room

Fovos is with Relicta and Mac.

Sophie:

Daddy!

Dad (off screen):

Coming, Sophie!

PAGE 12

Panel 1

Curador and Sanso outside the hospital.

Curador:

This virus is spreading in a very unnatural way – it’s spreading too

fast! Maybe it’s due to the number of infections and the amount of

different age and minority groups being affected?

Something’s not right here.

Sanso:

Bark Bark

Panel 2 (inset into Panel 3)

We see Curador activating his visor when he’s outside the Hospital as he runs his finger

along a railing.

Curador:

Let’s get to the bottom of this…

Curador Helmet:

[Activating Virus Scanning Lens]

Panel 3

We see what Curador is seeing through the visor (Like CoronaBot ’s view). We see him

looking at the street (Some activity as an ambulance drives up and other people milling

about) and seeing that everywhere is covered in the virus orange spray. And Sanso is sniffing

a puddle of the orange spray.

Curador:

Oh my there are huge handprints of the virus everywhere – like

someone is spreading it everywhere deliberately? There’s definitely

someone behind this, or at least taking advantage of the situation…

Sanso…

Sanso, I need you to go track this, go find the source… go quickly..

Panel 4

Small shot of Sanso running down the street away from Curador.

Panel 5

We see Sanso in the main street sniffing along.

Caption:

Not long later…

Panel 6

We see Sanso’s eyes light up and tail straighten up as if alerted.

Sanso: <Source Found>

Panel 7

Curador and Sanso speaking via the big screen at UberHQ with Q.

Q: Hi Curador – what is it?

Curador:

I sent Sanso after a hunch to track the source in the city… Look what

he found…, uploading to you right now!

Panel 8

A shot of Q looking shocked and disturbed by the visual on screen of CoronaBot in the

street. He is now grown to like 12 foot tall and is spraying the orange slime all over the

street.

Panel 9

Q: Oh my… CoronaBot 20202! Looks like he’s growing stronger and bigger!!

Thank you Curador…

Q at Comp is calling 4 zoom screens as we see the CoronaBot image to the side.

Q: This is really concerning we need to check in with the other Uberheroes to

see how they are….
