A stiffer steel twin-spar frame is partof the 2020 package. This year, the Z900sports a revised chassis, with addedstrength in crucial areas, such as theswing-arm pivot point.2. Suspension settings are revised.Featuring the same fork and shock withspring pre-load and rebound-dampingadjustments as previous iterations ofthe Z900.3. Selectable ride and power modeswill be available on the 2020 KawasakiZ900. Three selectable riding modes areavailable—Sport, Road, and Rain. Theride modes alter the levels of tractioncontrol and ABS intervention, with Sportbeing the least restrictive and Rain beingthe most. Riding modes are adjustableon the fly, rain drops power to 55%availability.4. The tech doesn’t stop there—Bluetoothconnectivity supports Kawasaki’sRideology app. Kawasaki has riderscovered who happen to enjoy staying inconstant contact, even when behind thehandlebars, thanks to the new Bluetoothconnectivity. To utilize this feature,owners must rely on Rideology. The appenables users to answer incoming calls,view ride logs (route, distance, time traveled),and tuning settings. We even gotthe TC to be switched off via our phoneonce connected for the wheelie shots.5. Refreshed, sharper styling is appliedto the 2020 Z900. Although very subtle,the changes can be seen and the newcolours with sticker kits will appeal tothe youngsters.6. A new LED headlight shines muchbrighter than before. It has sweet handlingwith a very comfortable riding position,maybe for long trips I’d opt for a smallwind deflector but for the rest, it is still awheelie machine and at risk of repeatingmyself, the engine is a gem, the inductionsound is additive and the basics ofjust enjoying a fuss free two wheeledmachine is very emphasised.
