ß-carotene in the plant kingdom.<br />

This element inhibts or prevents various types of<br />

gastrointestinal tract, carcinomas of secretary glands<br />

such as pancreas, breast cancer and nerve cell cancer.<br />

It also minimalizes radiation damage.<br />

The alga enhances immunity and prevents and<br />

treats a variety of degenerative deseases.<br />

By controlling cholesterol levels it protects<br />

from cardiovascular disease such as myocardial<br />

infarction and angina pectoris as well as from coronary<br />

heart disease.<br />

It is well known that β-carotene is oxidized by liver<br />

enzymes to produce vitamin A, which is necessary for<br />

Haematococcus also protects the skin from<br />

UV rays, enhancing pigmentation, preventing<br />

the signs of aging or having a positive effect<br />

on the existing ones.<br />

It decreases arterial blood pressure, and<br />

boosts immune response as well as reproductive<br />

behavior.
