We should mention that Cardiometry is a fine diagnostics tool to assess heart life expectancy. Our experts, using Cardiocode in “red zones” in intensive care units, have confirmed effectiveness of noninvasive measuring of the hemodynamics data on the cardiovascular system performance in critical patients with different severity degrees. The medical staff involved had a possibility not only to monitor the state in each critical patient, but also to predict and control the progression of a disease. We are going to publish some results of this pilot study in our next issues. We should mention that Cardiometry is a fine diagnostics tool to assess heart life expectancy. It has been shown that the metaphoricassociative cards can serve not only as a good forecasting tool, asort of predictors of human behavior in certain emotionally charged,stress-provoking, situations, but also as a means for active modelingof optimal mode to adequately overcome these difficulties.KeywordsCardiometry, Heart rate variability, Baevsky stress index,Emotional state, Validity, Coaching associative cards, Metaphoricassociative cards, Psychocorrection, Psychotherapy,Psychological consultation, Stress, Subjective genesis, Suprasituational activity, Psychosomatic self-regulationImprintVladimir A. Observed is an increasein the frequency rate and variety of training coursesaimed at their application. But until now, no systematic studies related to tracingand assessments of psychophysiological responsesin testing with the use of metaphoric associative cardshave been conducted. The existence of such responsesfollows from an assumption that due to the associations, actualized by such cards, certain cognitive andaffective components of the individual’s life experiencebegin "to awake” in the tested human subjects. For example, such mobilization can be manifested ina certain pattern of the cardiovascular system performance. If the idea of such associations is not only atheoretical construct, and if, with the use of metaphoricassociative cards, some definite, substantively different, psychophysiological states of a human person arereally fixed, then the transitions from one emotionalstate to another are accompanied by significant changesin the performance of the human organism, and, first of all, in the performance pattern of the heart.Taking into account the results of our previously describedstudies [1-3, 8-11], it can also be assumed thatsuch changes can be recorded by assessing heart ratevariability using the Baevsky stress index (SI).Materials and methodsTo verify the hypothesis formulated by us aboveherein, we have completed a series of experiments, inwhich various emotional states generated due to facingdifferent life difficulties have been modeled withmetaphoric associative cards. The psycho-physiologicalresponses corresponding to these states have beenrecorded using PC-assisted hemodynamic analyzerCardiocode. Besides, we have taken into account theresults of our previous experiments, which confirmthat an increased, in comparison with average values,Baevsky stress index (SI) can be considered as a fingerprintof the sthenic response to a stimulus, and areduced value thereof can be treated as a fingerprint ofthe asthenic response to a stimulus [1-3, 8-11].We alsohave considered that just the SI values are more effec-Issue 16.
