Bloxelsisaspin-offprojectofourongoingresearchofhowtoachievecomplexshapesusingsmallnumberofelementtypes.WiththeBloxelsaggregatestructures,westrivedtooccupyanurbanspacewithflexibleuseelementsthatreflectthechangingneedsofthecontemporarysociety.Fromcasualgatheringsofpeople,throughoccasionalmarkets,publicevents,tosocialdistancingsystem–withasmartshapeoftheelement,wecanfollowtheneedsoftheusersnotbychangingtheurbanfurniturecompletelybutratherbyreassemblingthepiecesintodifferentspatialconfigurations.Bloxelsisageometricalstudyofcomplexstructuresformingintricatepublicspacewithavariabilityofuse.Suchmodularassembliesgeneraterichandvariablespatialexperienceusingonlyasmallamountofelementtypes.Multipletypesofelementssharecommongeometricalcharacteristics,suchasanglesorlenghts.Thisallowsthedesignersandtheuserstoorganizeandre-organizethespaceforvarioususes,whilekeepinghighaestheticalcoherency.Subdigital/Architecture&productdesign/Bloxels51
