Korean manufacturer
TYM’s new 75hp ROPS
tractor is attracting a lot of
positive interest, its local
distributor says
Inlon is bringing more of Korean manufacturer TYM’s new 75
horsepower (56kW) utility tractor to Australia following a spike
in demand. The TYM T75 utility tractor with rollover protection
system comes with a four-cylinder Tier III diesel engine
with intercooler for better torque – with a 12-speed shuttle
transmission and a left-hand shuttle lever for easier operation.
It is equipped with hydrostatic power steering and inboard wet
disc brakes for assisted turning in tight situations as well as a
rear axle with diff-lock.
Inlon sales and marketing manager Gary Surman says the
model is designed to provide buyers with more for their money.
“The level-lift loader with Euro hitch and a 4-in-1 bucket is
standard equipment when a loader is ordered,” he says.

“It also features a multidisc push button PTO [power take-off]
for smooth engagement, three-point linkage with hydraulic
speed lowering adjustment and a flat ope ator’s platform to
ensure clear unobstructed entry for the operator.”
On top of this, the tractor has one set of double-acting
hydraulic remotes, a three-point linkage lift capacity of 2,200kg
and a top road speed of 38km/h. Surman says demand for
the tractor has been steadily rising this year, following dealer
feedback that bucks the trend for tractors with less than
100hp (75kW). The Tractor & Machinery Association of Australia
announced in April that sales of tractors between 40hp and
100hp are currently down 9 per cent on where they were
last year.
Surman says he has seen demand for the new tractors rise
steadily. “TYM dealers reported that enquiries were up so we’re
increasing stock levels to meet demand,” he says. “We’re also
expecting more buyer interest this financial year following the
recent Federal Government increase in the instant asset write
off threshold. With T75 pricing from $44,800 (inc. GST) including a
4-in-1 loader, this tractor is certainly an eligible product.”
