i everyone. I hate openings.
HThe writing of this yearbook is so different from what I
have expected it to be. Thought that it would be full of gratefulness
and stuff but here I am struggling with my poor English
to give a decent write-up.
I started this journey as a youthful individual, with high hopes
of having a fulfilling Hall life, taking up different roles and
mainly for personal growth. Never have I thought that I would
be joining Council, it was more of a spur in the moment, all
or nothing feels but 100% no regrets. Basically, I joined with
the intention of having more confidence and independence
in this journey, and I am truly glad to say that I have done
it! Definitely, joining as a 19-year-old, I would not dare to
say that I was a good leader (though I would say that I have
learnt/became a better leader through this).
The liaising with different sponsors was so tough considering
my fear of talking to people whom I didn’t know at all (but
hey, that’s the entire point of joining!!) and handling the entire
EWP (thank you Freddy for helping me out!! It was truly an
experience... with all the deadlines coming up). Also, 8-11 is finally
repacked with good from different suppliers (and finding
the lowest price) … and for those who think that I’m earning
lots of profits, please think again…
With assignments and other commitments coming along the
way (shout out to Srethgie btw), I guess it really took a toll on
me but there were so many take-aways (sorry but no da-bao
of mods ok) in terms of how I value people and how much
care I should give myself too. Time to time I would reminisce
how naïve I was back then but perhaps, it’s part and parcel
of growing up and realizing that life aint as fluffy and happy
as it seemed to be? Truthfully, these thoughts didn’t hit me
until sem 2, and after all the breakdowns I had. Sounds overly
dramatic but there was just so much for me to handle, so
*pats my own back because nobody pats mine* I’m so proud
of myself for getting this far. Joining JCRC was tough but I
wouldn’t have traded it for anything else.

star-wars for every 2 weeks, though some not too good huh
(my dear gdgcb u get a dedication here)
Also, thank you to those who always make time to come
down and help me with my sponsors goods and taking grab
with me all the way to unknown places HAHAHAH (and being
a spontaneous influencer to take a picture for our sponsored
drink, my dear tenacious almost-grad-Hall-one-quarantined-roomie)
I am really grateful for that.
Thank you Syron for always opening 8-11 earlier/later (until
1am sometimes) and occasionally bringing in Srethgie sales
unintentionally!! Also, for packing 8-11 when I didn’t mention
about doing so. (Thank you, Wan Jun, too for being my impromptu
Subcommer. Loves)
Also, thank you Eighters for all the support that you have
given!! Like coming to Hall events (and EWP) and also visiting
8-11!! You guys made my Subcommers work a lot but I’m
thankful for that too!! Thank you Srethgie for being my biggest
supporter during pracs and after pracs too (for pulling all
the late nights… hope the coffee and Oreo ice-cream helped)
And also, a huge thank you to all ma homies out there who
were there to support me and telling me not to give up (on
life in general) and press on! What have I done to deserve this
love from you guys! I am really lucky to meet you guys and
making my Hall life so much more enjoyable and bearable!
Last but not least, thank you my all-rounder roomie for being
there to listen to my struggles and witness my growth. Sorry
for waking you up unintentionally when I come back from
late night meetings and dance hehe. (Thank you Kaity too,
for putting all of these biographies together and being my girl
crush for less than 1 week. I was clearly catfished by your
profile picture.)
Thank you, my dear reader, for reading this long ass
biography too.
Also, thank you chinggus in Council for all the memories!! Especially
during IHG period, when we got to go home less than
7 times… and all the movie nights… WE GOT THROUGH
THAT!!! Thanks for all the laughter!! But now that it is over,
can I just say how much I hated the words North Hill and
Wanton Mee? No hate but it wouldn’t be pleasant having it as
your lunch menu every day for 2 months straight due to the
undying love that the Council boys have for Northhill’s wanton
mee… with the milo gao gao… I gagged internally. *Gives
another pat on the back for surviving through that too*
Loves, your favorite Bizmag jiejie,

PANGGANG LO
Special shout out to Freddy too for always opening 8-11 for
me when I had to rush from place to place… what a mess
I am...
Also, thank you my dear Subcommers for making the effort
to come down for 8-11 shift and having to go through pseudo
