A new D-Line gondola lift in Hinterglemm not only
impresses ski vacationers but also athletes from
the international competition scene. The 12er
Kogel is a two-section installation that provides
access to the World Cup run on the Zwölferkogel,
where the Audi FIS Ski World Cup men’s downhill
and super-G events were held on February 13
and 14, 2020. The modern, elegant station buildings
blend in perfectly with the look of the resort
and its natural surroundings. The L-shaped design
of the bottom station creates a 10-meter longer
loading area; the ski holders are located inside the
cabins. This makes boarding particularly straightforward
and comfortable for passengers. New features
include capacity for 10 passengers inside the
spacious cabins and an increase in cabin height
from 180 cm to 220 cm. For top ride comfort, the
individual seats are covered in performance fabric
and fitted with seat heating.
