After a construction period lasting just three months, a
Monorack from Doppelmayr/Garaventa provides access to
an alpine pasture in Vallée du Gros Mont that is otherwise
difficult to reach and can now be used in the summer. The
installation has several carriers for transporting passengers
and freight a well as animals. The system’s adaptability with
regard to the alignment enabled the 950-meter route, which
mostly passes through steep forest, to be mastered efficiently
and safely. High payload, flexibility and rugged design are
the hallmarks of this gasoline-powered Monorack.
