Our girls are aware of the wealth of talent that
has gone before them from mountaineers,
Olympians and TV presenters to artists,
scientists and entrepreneurs. Alumnae regularly
return for talks and visits and pupils benefit
enormously from their knowledge, experiences
and expertise.
Our innovative Virtual Boardroom equips each Senior
School girl with experiences of business projects with
industry mentors and our Virtual Classroom links to
classes across the world, offering a global perspective
on learning. Our Environmental Warrior initiative offers
opportunities to participate in charitable work and
partnerships in other countries.
We focus on language-learning and cultural
understanding and Queen’s is the only independent
school in the North of England to be awarded the
coveted accolade of being designated a Confucius
Classroom which encourages an appreciation of both
Chinese language and culture.
