COSHH REGULATIONS
COSHH regulations applies to a wide range of substances and preparations (mixtures of two or
more substances) which have the potential to cause harm if they are ingested, inhaled, or are
absorbed by, or come into contact with, the skin, or other body membranes.
Substances hazardous to health can be defi ned as anything that is a biological agent, labelled as
being hazardous to health, included in the list of Exposure Limits, a substantial quantity of dust
and anything else that is considered hazardous to health.
Many workplaces will have substances that could be hazardous to health, for example paint, ink,
glue and even some beauty products. There are many substances that can cause harm to health
but if used properly, almost never do. Substances may also have other dangerous properties
e.g. substances could be fl ammable.

Portable and easy to store spill kits.
• Handy for use in trucks, as it can be placed under
the seat or behind the seat.
• All kits are supplied in a yellow water-resistant bag.
• CAS895 – Re-form kit contains the same contents as the
standard kits but the pads are Re-form pads (380 x 480mm)
and the socs are Re-form socs.
• Kits are available for Oil only, maintenance and chemical spills,
please see price box for codes.
• Pads measure 410 x 510mm (H x W)
• Socs measure 1.2m x 76mm (L x Dia)
