Leading Fluid Technologies<br />
Weatherford offers a complete stimulation-fluid portfolio to<br />
accommodate a broad spectrum of reservoir conditions.<br />
These robust product offerings, coupled with a significant,<br />
ongoing R&D program enable us to provide the right fluid<br />
system for the most challenging reservoirs.<br />
DynaFrac fluid systems<br />
These high-performance, water-based fluid systems are ideal for applications up to 325°F (163°C). Each DynaFrac system consists<br />
of a refined, natural guar gelling agent and borate crosslinkers, and can be continuously or batch mixed with adjustable crosslink times.<br />
MagnumFrac fluid systems<br />
Clean, powerful and stable, these premium water-based fluid systems are comprised of a low-residue CMHPG gelling agent and<br />
zirconate crosslinkers. MagnumFrac systems have excellent fluid stability up to 400°F (204°C), and may be continuously or batch<br />
mixed. Also available are a high pH system for high-temperature and a low pH system which may be used alone or with CO 2 .<br />
SureSlick fluid systems<br />
These slickwater fracturing fluids deliver high performance with low friction and have a proven track record in unconventional reservoirs.<br />
AquaVis fluid systems<br />
These non-crosslinked gel systems are composed of either natural guar or low-residue CMHPG.<br />
OilVis fluid systems<br />
Simple and efficient, OilVis systems provide a superior system for gelling diesel and crude oils across a broad range of applications<br />
and at temperatures over 200°F (93°C).<br />
Carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) and nitrogen (N 2 ) compatible fluid systems<br />
Weatherford provides and or designs fracturing fluids for use with CO 2 or N 2 applications.
Comprehensive Acidizing Services<br />
Weatherford has a full range of acidizing products and can engineer<br />
specific chemical solutions as required. Current offerings include:<br />
• Hydrochloric (HCl) acid systems with solution-driven applications<br />
• HCl or hydrofluoric (HF) systems for sandstone acidizing<br />
• Organic acid systems for hot environments<br />
• Deep-penetrating HF acid systems for effective stimulation<br />
• HCl acid with fines-suspension capabilities for improved<br />
cleanup and damage removal<br />
• HCl acid-dispersing, surfactant-based systems for superior<br />
mud removal<br />
• Dual-acid service with organic acid-aromatic solvent systems<br />
