WORK

LIFE

In our current world, I believe Design can be a major

catalyst of the changes that our society needs.

Through my work, I try to express my engagement

and my sensibility with an empathic approach.

I have a very analytical way of thinking. I seek for

connections as part of my research process

to tackle societal issues. I wish to improve in

exploring my context physically, through hands on

experimentations.

I have a strong sense of justice that I try to reflect in

my work, with challenging people in a playful way.

A free electron is a term that suits me well. I’ve developed

social and cultural adaptability during my travels and my

education.

I’m easy-going and effervescent on a daily basis.

A versatile approach to life, always up to discover something

new.

I’m fond of electronic music and have a sentimental appeal

for my home region’s vineyards. I’m also one of the biggest

consumers of Youtube videos, from «2-hour conference on

the String theory» to «How to build a pool in the jungle with

a bamboo stick?».

NISHATI

Nishati (=Energy in Swahili) is a partnership project

with the Toyota Europe Design Center.

2 students and myself were chosen to take

part in a 10-days journey to Tanzania in order to

understand the daily-life issues that the Masai

tribe can encounter.

This ethnographic trip allowed us to create a bond

with the local tribe of Kitwai B, a village lost in the

middle of the savannah. We discovered

their traditions and rituals, and were also able to

identify their biggest struggles.

We aimed at propose solutions that are an

enhanced version of the tool they already had.

Collaborators : Corentine Masson, Nicolas

Steip,Laurene Senee, Guillaume Andre, Elena

Selskova,Louis Botteri.

NISHATI

The ritual of cooking is a strong cultural aspect in a

Masai’s daily-life.The blaze is passed from a house

to another.

However, they cook inside without any kind of

ventilation which causes a lot of respiratory

diseases.

Nishati is an oven made out of local clay, with a grill

acting as a battery (Pelletier Cells).

The close chamber of combustion reduces 90

percent of toxic emissions. The pot and the handle

allow people to easily pass the fire.

.

Later, the electricity generated by the heat can be

used to charge a lamp or a phone.

DREAM 2074

DREAM 2074 is a contest organized by Comité

Colbert in 2019 aiming to show how the French

luxury could still make people dream in a utopic

society in 2074.

Comité Colbert is an association regrouping 80

French Luxury brands from all the fields.

The first step was to understand the societal shift

that leads to utopia.

We tried to predict the future by creating a timeline

analysis, taking into account different aspects

of society and environment.

Special Jury Mention for « High quality work ».

DREAM 2074

Terre Volée is a self-sufficient platform elevated in

the sky in order to stay in the geographical area

while having the best conditions for the vine.

It’s hovering above Bordeaux thanks to Earth’s

magnetic field, and act as a second skin for the

crops.

The organic and nanotechnological structure is

inspired from Voronoi pattern, it can adapt in real

time to the weather, adjusting the opening of the

roof-structure.

According to NASA, we will experience a rise of 4

degres within the actual century.

This change could be dramatic for one of the oldest

french «savoir-faire» :

Wine making and especially Grand Cru from

Bordeaux.

We proposed a solution to keep producing wine

traditionnaly within this changing climatic context.

IKEA PLAY

IKEA PLAY : What if cardboard packaging

can have easily a second life ?

You all experienced or saw a child play with the

packaging of the brand new couch his parents just

bought. The idea is to enhance this practice while giving

a new perception of the material as toy.

Every year, IKEA is producing 3.5 Billions of cardboard

packaging all over the world.

The goal is to create a new range from this «waste»

while adding only a small step in the process.

Collaborators : Rosa Hamalainen,Guillaume Andre.

IKEA PLAY

Extend IKEA packaging’s life by adding a dotted

pattern, with a laser, on cardboard boxes from

regular product.

Children can easily cut pieces out and start being

creative with it. It strenghten their ability to see

anything as a toy.

Possible advertisement of the product.

CELLULOLAB

I investigate how nature behave in an urban

environment by collecting samples from an

area of one square meter.

My results were organized as a gradient from

the most natural to the most artificial.

Cigarettes butts and dead leaves were the

most common findings all over the city.

Cigarette filter are made of Cellulosis Acetate

wich come from wood pulp.

Dead leaves are mainly composed of

cellulosis. One is process industrialy, the other

is natural.

11

CELLULOLAB

I’ve experimented different ways to combine these

two materials into one composite.

the goal is to create a tool for the city based on

what you can find in.

Cellulolab is a street installation that allows people

to interact and understand how we can recycle the

city waste.

It’s composed of a grinder and a heat-press that can

produce plates these plates.

STATE OF MATTER

State of Matter is a collaboration between

Guglielmo Bozzoli P. and me. This is a series

of experiments on clay-based bioplastic.

We aim at pushing the boundaries of

materiality and challenge perceptions.

13

STATE OF MATTER

This research is about the versatility of this material

and all the different applications it can have.

Through all the samples, we exposed all its

potential and especially its flexibility.

Exploring different ways to use it, from coral-like

sculpture to an alternative to leather.
