The 14th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance continues
its history of amazing automobiles, motorcycles and
philanthropy that benefit tens of thousands at risk local youth.
This year’s Concours d’Elegance raised the bar again with its
impressive selection of cars, motorcycles and charitable donation
to the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County. Actor
and Comedian Billy Gardell was this year’s celebrity judge.
The weekend kicked off on Friday with a hanger party at Boca
Raton Airport. Guests were able peruse an impressive selection of
cars, motorcycles and private jets while enjoying gourmet tastings,
wine and spirits and live entertainment.
Saturday brought an all new event this year, Mecum Auctions presented
the “Gallery Exposition” of Millions of Dollars in Collector
Cars and an Automotive Fine Arts Society Show. The presentation
of extraordinary vintage automobiles and art by automobile artists
from around the country displaying their work, which was available
for purchase. The excitement continued Saturday evening with
the Grand Gala Dinner, Live Auction & Show. After the presentation
of awards, Billy Gardell provided the evening’s entertainment.
Sunday’s Concours d’Elegance automotive showcase featured
over 200 cars and motorcycles from an array of time periods. Auto
enthusiasts also had a chance to view the Marques of the Year, Duesenberg.
The “Best of Show Award” was presented to a 1962 Ferrari
250 GTO Coupe owned by Dr. Richard Workman. This year’s Boca
Raton Concours d’Elegance attracted thousands of attendees and
was the largest in the show’s 14-year history. The biggest winner
as always were the at-risk youth of South Florida.
The 15th annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance reconvenes on
February 19 – 21, 2021.
