That was the worst day of my life…

confused at why we were all
separated. I Even questioned why
I wasn’t taken into fostercare.
But at this moment I remembered
all the times at home where mum
struggled to make much for dinner
and I would give mine to my brother
and sister and would starve…
but it was good to be at my
grandparents home stuffing my
face as long as I knew my brother
and sister were safe and sound…
