®16 | HONORING WEST SIDE AGRICULTURE THURSDAY, MARCH 19, 2020Merced County FarmBureau continues proudtradition of giving backto communityMerced County FarmBureau has a proud historyof giving back to ourlocal communities throughvarious donations, participationin local field daysand scholarship programs.This year has been no differentand our “Saluteto Ag” is to focus on thedeserving students andteachers that have workedhard to achieve successesin our agricultural community.Each year, MercedCounty Farm Bureau(MCFB) awards a host ofscholarships to high schoolseniors who are continuingtheir education in anBREANNE RAMOSagriculturally-relatedfield. This year, we wereable to award 15 scholarshipstotaling $11,750. Twoof these students are fromGustine FFA – seniorsAubrie Hazan and MadisonWoods. Aubrie hasbeen very active in variousprograms in the communityand Gustine HighSchool. She plans to attendModesto Junior Collegeand study animal science.Madison has also beenactive in the communityand the California JuniorLivestock Association.
