at a gala event with dinner and dancing as Reykjavik glows with
traditional brenna (bonfires) and a remarkable display of fireworks.
Tour the famous Golden Circle to Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall), Geysir
geothermal area, and Thingvellir National Park, where you can walk
through the gap where two tectonic plates are parting. Explore
Reykjavik and visit the city’s iconic church, who’s unique design was
inspired by the shapes created by lava when it cools. Enjoy a “Viking
style” dinner, and soak in the famous Blue Lagoon — a dramatic
lava field with warm aqua-colored, mineral-rich water reputed for
