family’s roots are in Beaujolais, but their holdings have
rapidly expanded to include the Domaine Jacques
Prieur in Burgundy and now this grower Champagne
venture based around sought-after vineyards in
Verzenay. “Prologue” has the quality of a much
more-expensive Champagne. The nose is a deep with
aromas of yellow apple, dried pineapple, white
mushrooms and white flowers. "Prologue" is a
combination of a spectacular structure, complexity
with the freshness we all crave from the best
Champagnes.
