tav. I Volterrano, Self-portrait, 1663-1665 circa, Galleria degli Uffizi, Florence
but recently identified as dating from 1662; a Holy
Family with St. Elizabeth and St. John The Baptist also
known only from an engraved derivation (around 1662-
1665); the spectacular portrait of Panbollito playing the
Lute with a Moorish servant (1662); the Rest on the
Flight into Egypt (1662-1664) now belonging to the
Gerini family and an Allegory of Fame frescoed on the
ceiling of a room in the wing known as della Muletta
in the Pitti Palace (1659). Again, no less significant,
in these first years of the seventh decade of the 17 th
century, is the canvas with the Allegory of Louis XIV in
Glory, commissioned in 1664 by Luigi Strozzi for the
Sun King.
pala, oggi malconcia, sull’altare Incontri in Sant’Egidio
cappella Gigli in San Vigilio a Siena (1666-1670);
