Divadlo Jána Palárika. Spája sa
v ňom história s progresívnou dramaturgiou.
The Ján Palárik’s Theater has been the heart of
the cultural life of Trnava and its surroundings for
almost two centuries.

Otvára sa návštevníkom všetkých vekových
kategórií, svojou ponukou prekračuje hranice
trnavského kraja. Divadlo prináša bohatú ponuku
divadelných predstavení (domácich i hosťujúcich),
ktoré dopĺňa o pestrý mimo-divadelný program:
tvorivé dielne, deň otvorených dverí, talkshow
Pred oponou, prehliadky divadla a mnohé iné.
Historická Zrkadlová sála sa pravidelne premieňa
na Hudobný klub Panónia a prezentuje výnimočných
slovenských hudobníkov. Divadlo štvrťročne
vydáva vlastný magazín, spolupracuje so strednými
školami a univerzitami a dáva priestor aj ochotníckym
divadlám. Najnovšie je súčasťou divadla aj
celodenne otvorená kaviareň Bezkydov.
Divadlo Jána Palárika je neoddeliteľnou
súčasťou kultúrnej identity Trnavy
a svojím programom plní funkciu modernej
kultúrnej inštitúcie 21. storočia.
Its building is an important historical element of
the Trinity Square making it one of the city’s
dominant features.

The Ján Palárik’s Theater combines history with
progressive dramaturgy. It is open to visitors of
all ages and its offer goes beyond the borders
of the Trnava Region. You can choose from
a great selection of theater performances (both
domestic and guest) which are complemented by
a varied non-theater programme like workshops,
open days, talkshows and many others. The
historical Mirror Hall is regularly transformed into
the Panónia Music Club presenting exceptional
Slovak musicians. The theater also publishes
its own magazine, cooperates with secondary
schools and universities and gives space to
amateur groups. The most recent
part of the theater is the
Bezkydov cafe. The Ján
Palárik’s Theater is an
integral part of
Trnava’s cultural
identity as a modern
cultural institution of
the 21 st century.
