The Retro Museum Trnava

SK

Prvým exponátom Retro múzea bol záhradný

domček, ktorý si pán Karol postavil sám.

Zohnal si staré pálené tehly, drevené trámy,

a nakoniec kuchyňu, čalúnené sedenie,

kovové žehličky na uhlie, telefóny, kufre,

lyže a iné predmety z druhej polovice

a možno ešte staršie. Jeho

zberateľská vášeň vyústila

do expozície, ktorá sa rozkladá

na 650 m 2 priestoru.

The idea to establish the Retro

Museum started with Mr. Karol,

who had long ago discovered

his passion for objects related to

socialism and perhaps even older

times. His collection has resulted

in an exposition that spreads out

over 650 m 2 .

The first exhibit of the Retro Museum was the

garden house built by Mr. Karol himself. He

acquired many things such as the old kilnbaked

bricks, wooden beams, and finally the

kitchen, upholstered seats, coal-fired metal

irons, telephones, trunks, skis and other objects

from the second half of the 20 th century. Most

of the exhibits are from Slovakia, Czech Republic,

Hungary, but some are also from France or

Germany.
