The Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary
is the oldest church building, although its
architecture is Baroque. The first mention of the
church dates back to 1239. Since the middle of
the 20 th century, the monastery complex has
been the home of the West-Slovakian Museum.
There is also a permanent exhibition of bells,
since their production has a long tradition in
the Trnava region. The Fischer family became
famous for the production of bells in Trnava.
