Kostol svätej Anny koncom 18. storočia postavili
uršulínky a venovali ho práve svojej patrónke Anne,
ktorá bola vyhlásená za svätú za svoju starostlivosť
o Máriu. Z pôvodných kostolov postavených v centre
je tento najmladší. Pod kostolom
sa nachádza podzemný cintorín,
teda krypty, v ktorých
verne vidieť, ako sa
v tom čase pochovávalo.
Pod oltárom Panny
Márie sa zároveň nachádza
cínová truhla
s ostatkami košických
mučeníkov.
The Church of St. Anne
was built by the members
of the Saint Ursula Order at
the end of the 18 th century and
they dedicated it to their patron
St. Anne, who was declared a saint for her care of
Virgin Mary. This church is the youngest one from
those originally built in the city center. There is an
underground cemetery (crypts) below the church.
Beneath the Virgin Mary’s altar, there is also a tin
coffin with the remains of the Košice’s martyrs.

Evanjelický kostol v Trnave
stojí už v podstate za mestskými
hradbami a zaujímavý je
svojou architektúrou. Pôdorys
chrámu má polkruhový tvar
a vzhľadom na orientáciu
smerom ku kazateľnici pôsobí
ako amfiteáter s pódiom. Vo
veži sa tiež nachádza jediná
zvonkohra v Trnave.

the town fortification and its
architecture attracts tourists.
The ground plan of the church
has a semicircular shape and
in regard to its orientation
towards the pulpit, it acts as
an amphitheater with a stage.
The tower disposes of the
only carillon in Trnava.
