Groups are delighted to announce that<br />

we are holding a Health Awareness Day<br />

at St Peter’s Church on Saturday, 11th<br />

July from 10am to 4pm. The event will<br />

host a diverse array of both professional<br />

and charitable organisations involved in<br />

a wide variety of health issues that are<br />

prevalent today. These will include diet<br />

and exercise, smoking, health advice,<br />

diabetes, mental health, cancer support,<br />

epilepsy, dementia, social prescribing,<br />

asthma, blood pressure checks, CPR and<br />

community defibrillator demonstrations<br />

and more besides.<br />

Refreshments provided by the Bridge<br />

Project.<br />

Free admittance. All are very welcome<br />

Join us during the National Walking Month of<br />

May for the 13th annual Suffolk Walking Festival,<br />

now established as one of Britain’s biggest and<br />

longest running walking festivals. This year’s<br />

event extends 9 May to 31 May and over 3 weeks<br />

you can explore Suffolk with over 120 guided<br />

walks and lots to do in the <strong>Spring</strong> Half Term.<br />

There are family friendly and fringe events at<br />

some of Suffolk’s most iconic and spectacular<br />

locations, a launch at Clare Castle Country Park<br />

on 9 May, plus a brand new Challenge Walk ‘Go<br />

West’ over 5 days (16-20 May).With so much<br />

more than just walking, there is something for<br />

everyone: lots of short, medium, and long walks,<br />

and <strong>No</strong>rdic Walking too.<br />

There are walks on the mysterious Orford Ness<br />

with Kite the Sheepdog (and his shepherd<br />

Andrew), an Orwellian Adventure down the River<br />

Orwell, photography and art workshops, meet<br />

Jemima Puddleduck, with lots more in between.<br />
