Hari Raya came early for the underprivileged children<br />
of Desa Mentari, Kampung Dato Harun, SS13 and<br />
Bangi. In the generous spirit of giving and sharing,<br />
<strong>Tropicana</strong> Golf & Country Resort hosted a lively Hari<br />
Raya open house for 200 excited children from various<br />
charity organisations during the holy Muslim month of<br />
Ramadhan. A festive spirit presided over the ballroom<br />
where the “berbuka puasa” event was held. The children,<br />
both big and small, were treated to a lavish buffet spread<br />
of scrumptious local specialties and entertainment<br />
courtesy of <strong>Tropicana</strong> staff. No child walked away<br />
empty handed or without a happy smile as each of them<br />
received gifts that included back-to-school backpacks,<br />
stationery, and milk for healthy teeth and bones.<br />
