Read Memory by Address
The purpose of this service ($23) is to retrieve data from a contiguous range of ECU memory addresses.
Depending on the required address range the service has to be configured. Therefore the Setup button in
the Main Diagnostic Setup window could activate the dialog box shown below.
The range of ECU addresses is defined by a three-byte memory starting address parameter and a twobyte
length (memory size) parameter included in the request message.
Input the ECU address as hexadecimal values and the Memory Size as decimal value (up to 65535).
Acknowledge the setup by OK.
