MY FIRST PAIR OF VANS

I was 16 when I got my first pair of

vans with my first ever salary from my

first ever job as a pizza maker. They

were a pair of green low old skool and I

still have them back at home. These

black ones are my fav at the moment.

Mason was jumping into our store was full of energy and enthusiasm, picking

up every item to show his parents and handing item after item to his Mam

so he could try them on. He would ask myself and other members of staff

about Vans and he was so excited to tell us about what Vans shoes he had

already. I was a lovely kid. That’s why we thought Mason would be the

perfect candidate for this month’s Size 66 giveaway. He really brought

everyone in the shop’s spirits up with his energy and none stop 22 smiling! He

was the perfect example of being true Van Doren!

his son to wear during BMX contests. His son is only 7 But will always make

sure hes representing vans everywhere he competes.

SEVILLA

-SFC never at till zone

-SFC must identify a team

member as a clear “Greeter”.

Both fixed rules are really

connected because the way to

observe and give feedback. If we

start to dilute our role as SFC

doing these functions, we are

going to lose a vision really

important about what´s going

on in our floor in that moment.

Even now, we are using our

walkie-talkies to give feedback

between us, because we are

observing and listening better

how a partner gave a perfect

welcome to a visitor, or if

another one has sold a reusable

bag at the till… But always doing

it funny!

BILBAO

SFC provides feedback to

the team every 30 minutes

through Store Force. Each

time is different associate

who gets the info and share

it with the team, and we

involved all the team doing

it this way.

At low times, the SFC does

practice activities in order

to get better the Add-on,

like offering the Reusable

bag in a correct way, how to

offer socks or Nikwax while

the customer is trying

shoes.


UTRECHT

-Fast greetings and approaches

By greeting (greeting is not just saying hi, but also making a joke or a

remark about how they look or what they are wearing) customers

immediately as they walk in we make it known to them that we've

acknowledged them, a fast approach after this and they know that they

can ask us anything - this way we don't miss any sales because of shyness

or appearing busy or other reasons.

examples; complimenting the vans they are wearing now or if they are

not wearing vans jokingly ask if they are coming to exchange them for

vans. we really try to notice what the customer is doing today if they are

carrying a lot of shopping bags already we always try to say something

about that, or if we want to get really Dutch we talk/joke about the

weather

-Being visible

Wearing our lanyards and store t shirts, have an open attitude and

appearance

-Dropping tasking whenever customers enter

Though at times we may slowly continue with unpacking apparel e.g.

when customers just got in, we make sure to shift our main focus to

customers so we don't miss eye contact or potential buying signals.

Otherwise all tasking is dropped and we appear open and approachable

-Zoning + moving

Zones are planned in the DSP every morning and we adhere to this as

much as possible to make sure the store is max covered, but at quiet

times we know when to shift around based on where customers are to

capitalize on these moments as well (i.e. changing room)

=3TTF + offer locates as a fourth option always

Taking up an alternatives to show the customer we're willing to help

them think with them, we've also made it a habit of grabbing the iPad

and letting customers browse the webstore telling them we can order

anything of their liking (if they decide to do so)

-Make people accountable ​to our result and their contribution to the team.

-Priority (in general) goal, task...

-Storeforce also allows us to be a best SFC, making the SFC more

accountable/conscious of our KPI's during his/her SFC shift.

-FEEDBACK to the Sales Associate during and after the

sale to complete and improve our CS.

-ORGANIZE THE TEAM with the zoning. Perspective of all

store and be able to speak with all the customers.

-IDENTIFY THE PRIORITIES correctly.

SAN SEBASTIAN HERNANI

-Knowing constantly the

situation of the store, by

checking every hour the KPIs

on StoreForce. And so,

knowing better where to put

the focus at all time.

-Having a external vision of

the team on the floor in order

to organize, and especially

rotating functions, to maintain

the energy of the team.

MALLORCA

We use the headphones and

this way we are giving

feedback at the moment.

Another thing that we do is

figures of eight around the

floor so that we control

everything.

SWINDON

-Moving women's department and CORE MFO creating a department

of it's own, pushed Women' sales up by 73% Vs LY same period

-Creating "power hours" by analyzing last years CR by hour report.

Saturdays and Sundays and peak trade days don't schedule lunch

breaks over the top 2 or 3 high footfall hours. Maximized footfall and

peaked CR to 15%/16% on peak footfall hours vs 8% on previous years.

Result was higher CR and winning for the day all round. This was super

and made a huge difference for us in Swindon!

-Visual aids, Fitting Room size above fitting rooms as a silent aid for

customers, and a full length mirror at the front of the store to open up

options for customers to try product kn. Huge success for people who

didn't want to use a fitting room but had the option to see the

product.
