Enroute to Harrisburg, PA for the huge Motorama Show. It was a nice ride from
Jersey, easy route. This event was huge, I think someone told me it was 1 million sq
ft. You enter into a huge room, filled with cars, hoods open, owners standing by,
loud and proud, everything from vintage to monster truck. You keep walking and
another huge arena type room has remote control racing going, another dirt bike
racing, another robot wars, go cart racing, more cars, more bikes, vendors, it just
keeps going. You get to the end and your asking for a ride back. We talk, we mingle,
we watch racing, we shop, we finally make it back to where we came in and your
wondering if its still the same day.
And there it is, the paint job of all paint jobs. We say hello, we start talking and here
is another great story that real people have to tell and then Twist n Throttle is all
ears.
John Stroup built himself a Street Glide and while thinking of what to paint on it, he
knew he wanted his fathers memory to be part of it. Johns father was 82nd
Airborne. John asked Jay Vought from Sinister Airbrush to come up with a paint
scheme to honor John's father. The paint job went above and beyond what anyone
could imagine. It quietly and sincerely reflected love, honor, and respect, for John's
father, for our military, and for our country. Sinister Airbrush hit it out of the park.
When John rides past his reflection in a storefront, you could almost imagine John's
father nodding and saying nice job son.

Janet Truax
Campership Fund
Janet Truax was the summer registrar for Camp Pinnacle for many
years. As the person running registration, Miss Janet made sure every
child who wanted to come to camp was able to do just that. She would
call her church and other friends and say, "this child needs help going
to camp. What can you do?" She made sure scholarship money was
available. She passed at the age of 81 and right to the end she kept up
the fight for kids to be able to come to camp.
Every year 10-20 kids are able to experience the beauty and
adventure at Camp Pinnacle. From horses to motorcycles and fishing
ponds to talent show's, along with s'mores, fireside singing, and the
message of God's love for all of us... it's an amazing experience for
these kids. We would like to do that again this year with your help.
Camperships go to children in single parent homes, families in
trauma, and larger families with financial need. If you would like to
donate to the fund or apply for a scholarship, please contact Kayla

Prayer From The Heart
Lord, we all choose to pray in our own way's. Some may pray using there
God given skills to the best of their ability. Some by spreading your word.
Some may use their ability to bring people together to give thanks. Some
pray to communicate to you Lord. Prayer helps people know your Love.
I personally pray using the gift's you have bestowed upon me
to the best of my ability.
