The high quality Laguiole steak forks are
manufactured in the Goyon-Chazeau factory near
Thiers, the city in the French Auvergne, famous for
its cutlery for over 500 years. Originally inspired by
jackknives from Andalusia, the elegant knives with
the famous bee, the Napoleonic heraldic animal,
have been manufactured there for generations
in a wide variety of forms. In particularly noble
restaurants, an original Laguiole cutlery is served
with the steak. The slim blade shape and elegant
lines have made the Laguiole knives world-famous.
