As well as the usual have-a-go activities, shopping and demonstrations,
the All About Dogs team always seem to have something new and
exciting to offer in the dog world. Whether it’s meeting canine Instagram
stars or entering your dog in ‘My Dog’s Got Talent’, this year’s show is a
must visit. Can’t make these dates? Not to worry as the show is on tour
throughout East Anglia from April to September.

Just Dogs Live, 10 – 12 July

Just Dogs Live hosts events over three days and includes the popular,
East of England Championship Dog Show, which is now approaching
its 60th year. For those owners and dogs who prefer something a
little less serious, there’s a fun dog show on the Saturday and Sunday
which includes classes such as waggiest tail, best fancy dress and best
rescue story. You can receive dog welfare advice, watch grooming
demonstrations and let your dog try some of the have-a-go activities
too. You do have to register your dog to attend the event and forms can
be downloaded from the website. Don’t worry if your forget though as
they’ll be available on the gate.
Tickets are just £7 when puchased online ahead of the event.

Norfolk
Hunstanton Fun Dog Show, 16 May
Glebe House School, Hunstanton, Norfolk, PE36 6HW
Described as “the best day out for dogs on the Norfolk Coast” the
Hunstanton Fun Dog Show is for every hound and their humans.
Whether you have a pedigree or crossbreed, they don’t discriminate, all
dogs are welcome to take part. Try one of the 12 classes to be in with
a chance to win titles such as ‘Prettiest Girl’, ‘Most Handsome Boy’ or
‘Veteran’ (aged 8 +). Rosettes are given up to 10th place in each class
so there’s every chance your dog could be lucky, if not there’s a class
especially for the dogs who haven’t won a rosette yet. There will also be
flyball which your dog can try, a fastest recall competition, Dachshund
racing, a doggy dancing display and trade stands.

Suffolk Dog Day is a fun day out the whole family can enjoy and pure
heaven for the four-legged members. Set against the backdrop of
the stunning Helmingham Hall, there’s plenty of space to step back
and appreciate the tranquillity of the location. With a huge choice of
have-a-go activities for your dog to try out, you’ll want to get there early
to fit them all in. From the fun dog show, hoopers, agility, flyball, scurry
down by the lake and much more, make sure you pack tasty snacks to
keep their energy levels up. For the less active, there’s lots of exciting
demonstrations to watch, retail and charity stalls to browse and tasty
food to be sampled.
Early bird discounted tickets are on sale now or they can be purchased
on the day for £10 per adult, £5 concessions/over 60s and children
