ARUK Explorer - Cambridge

A one day, 21-mile walk around the vibrant university city and surrounding idyllic
countryside in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK. The flat and picturesque route will start
at 6.30am on Jesus Green in the city centre, before following the River Cam out past
Stourbridge Common and its bucolic grazing cows, through the gorgeous landscapes
of Stow cum Quy to the first rest stop. After a rest, intrepid hikers will continue on along
the river at Little Wilbraham, pausing again before taking in the Gog Magogs, with
their small and scenic inclines. Having tackled one of Cambridge’s few ‘hills’ another
rest stop will be provided, before the route brings walkers back through the city via
the world-renowned Backs taking in numerous iconic Cambridge locations including
King’s College, before a last amble along the river footpath towards the Jesus Green
