Explore the wonders of the night’s sky at Nowton Park. Join
members of the Athenaeum Astronomy Association who will
introduce specific aspects of the night sky.

There’s plenty to see and do with indoor, family-friendly
activities and acres of gardens and woodland to explore
outside. The downstairs rooms in the House will be brought
to life by Kentwell’s living historians, and the Moat House will
be buzzing with bakers, dairymaids, ladies in the stillroom and
needlewomen. The alchemists will be at their hut in the woods
and Tudor villagers and crafts will be in the outbuildings.
Families can try to find the huge wooden hidden in the gardens
and to scramble the clues to crack the code they reveal!

The market has a wonderful bustling atmosphere and provides
easy access for people to buy high quality, local foods and
treats for Easter direct from Suffolk’s artisan producers located
at a world class music venue. It provides the chance to talk to
producers directly and find out about where they source their
ingredients from and the passions for good food that drive their
businesses.

2-3 May Tudor May Day celebrations
Step back into history and join in with the event as the living
historians choose a may queen and raise the may tree. Join in

The free Festival features over 80 food and drink stalls, many of

in East Anglia. Based in the centre of the vibrant market town,
