teams.
Carnival
On 11 July everyone is invited to the celebratory carnival
in the town centre. Events will be held all day, with plenty
of activities for children and a full procession. A fun, free
summer’s day out. www.wgc100.org/wgc-carnival
In addition to this, there’s concerts, heritage days,
talks and plenty of sporting activities. Of course, an
anniversary like this wouldn’t be complete without a
Royal visit – a request has been made, so watch this
space!
If you can’t make the WGC 100 anniversary events, there’s still plenty
of reasons to visit this part of Hertfordshire. With spring flowers, warmer
days and Easter coming up, it’s the perfect opportunity to visit the area’s
attractions.
