A fresh anointing<br />
CANCELING LEGAL GROUND<br />
In the days we are approaching we need a fresh touch <strong>of</strong> God on<br />
our lives. Just as we should be growing in humility <strong>and</strong> love, we<br />
should be growing in power. The power <strong>of</strong> God brings God glory<br />
<strong>and</strong> shows his love to a lost world. I know <strong>of</strong> many young people<br />
who were hit by the power <strong>of</strong> God at a two year revival God gave<br />
me. Many <strong>of</strong> them were from backgrounds that didn’t accept this<br />
sort <strong>of</strong> thing, but God didn’t care. Denominations are only man<br />
made. God looks for the blood <strong>of</strong> Jesus. I had young people tell me<br />
that they never felt God so close to them. Also they would say that<br />
he must love them to have touched them <strong>and</strong> put them under his<br />
power on the floor. The Lord was leaning over <strong>and</strong> kissing these<br />
young people. His power showed his love for them. Many were<br />
healed, delivered (<strong>of</strong> you name it), <strong>and</strong> baptized in the Holy Spirit.<br />
There was a fresh anointing. You know that was wonderful for then,<br />
but what about now? I want a fresh anointing today. I want to be on<br />
the cutting edge <strong>of</strong> what God is doing now.<br />
In Revelation 7:3 we see a spiritual “seal” on the foreheads <strong>of</strong><br />
God’s servants released to them. Rick Joyner said, “The best way<br />
to keep from getting satan’s mark (Rev 13:16) is to be marked by<br />
God.” It is interesting that during these moves <strong>of</strong> God, servants <strong>of</strong><br />
the Lord are laying h<strong>and</strong>s on the foreheads <strong>of</strong> God’s people. I be<br />
lieve this anointing that is being imparted has to do with this seal. I<br />
personally feel the anointing is what is going to distinguish God’s<br />
people in these last days. Also, the wise virgins are getting extra oil<br />
for the days that are approaching (Matthew 25:112).<br />
An Evil Impartation<br />
Just as there can be an impartation <strong>of</strong> giftings, anointings, <strong>and</strong><br />
mantles from God, there can be an evil impartation. Now let me say<br />
one thing at the beginning <strong>of</strong> this. I feel that many have been so<br />
afraid to receive something from the devil that they missed a move<br />
<strong>of</strong> God entirely. That is so sad. God never intended for us to live in<br />
fear. There is wisdom in being cautious, but being afraid <strong>of</strong> all su<br />
pernatural power is not wisdom. I am careful about who prays for<br />
me, but I am not so afraid <strong>and</strong> closed that I won’t let someone ei<br />
ther. I am saddened because some <strong>of</strong> my fellow ministers <strong>of</strong> deliv<br />
erance have been so afraid <strong>of</strong> getting something from satan they<br />
missed God. Seek discernment. We should know when something<br />
is not <strong>of</strong> God. Some people out there have no discernment at all, so<br />
they live suspicious <strong>and</strong> critical <strong>of</strong> every move <strong>of</strong> God in some vain<br />
attempt to “protect the body.” What foolishness!<br />
