150 countries worldwide, 2019 saw Genius Sports launch<br />
GeniusLive, an end-to-end streaming, production and<br />
OTT solution.<br />
By automating how video content is captured, managed and<br />
distributed through AI and computer vision, GeniusLive is<br />
built for leagues and federations of all sizes.<br />
Already, it is driving the new era of democratised video<br />
content, streaming over 7,000 games in its first season and<br />
enabling 15 leagues and federations to launch their first OTT<br />
platforms. Initially built for Genius Sports’ global network of<br />
volleyball and basketball partners, GeniusLive can be easily<br />
applied and rolled out for any indoor sport.<br />
It removes the costs of hardware, production and personnel for<br />
rights-holders, replacing dedicated cameramen with between<br />
one and four cameras around the court that automatically<br />
detect where the action is taking place to pan, switch angles<br />
and zoom in and out for each play.<br />
