<strong>2019</strong> CITIZEN OF THE YEAR<br />
Ms Rosalie De Lurant<br />
Rosalie is an extremely vocal and proud<br />
supporter of Campbelltown. Rosalie has<br />
lived in and around Campbelltown for most<br />
of her life. She has such love for the area,<br />
the culture and its people that she takes every opportunity to<br />
promote it at a local, state and national level. Working with<br />
Service Clubs, the Council and Local Groups, she has served<br />
the local area and will continue to serve for years to come.<br />
As a Police Officer of 37 years, Rosalie supported many<br />
victims and completed her career as Police Prosecutor.<br />
She has served Inner Wheel Club of North East Sunset as<br />
President twice, represented the Inner Wheel Club of North<br />
East Sunset, was on the Service Clubs Advisory Committee<br />
and has been State Chair (District A40) for Inner Wheel.<br />
Rosalie volunteers at numerous Council events including<br />
the Moonlight Markets and recently at the Council’s 150th<br />
birthday celebrations. She raises funds and contributes<br />
ongoing discussion regarding the Community challenges and<br />
opportunities in the area.<br />
<strong>2019</strong> SENIOR CITIZEN OF THE YEAR<br />
Mr Anthony Uren<br />
Tony has contributed to the local Community<br />
since moving to Paradise after his marriage to<br />
Eunice in the mid 1960s. Tony has embedded<br />
himself in Campbelltown with contributions<br />
to the North Eastern Community Hospital,<br />
Rotary Club of Campbelltown, Campbelltown<br />
Historical Society and the Campbelltown Uniting Church.<br />
Tony has actively participated in the success of the<br />
Community Groups with which he has been involved. He has<br />
the ability to build rapport with individuals, actively listening<br />
to others and responding in positive ways to achieve the best<br />
possible outcome. Tony has been a mentor to many and highly<br />
regarded by all.<br />
