Service Clubs Advisory Committee Continued<br />

Mr Graeme Packer and Ms Alexandra James.<br />
The Service Clubs Advisory Committee focuses on<br />
partnership opportunities, promotion and marketing of new<br />
initiatives. The Committee continually has discussions about<br />
how Service Clubs and Council can work together to jointly<br />
deliver projects that have a significant benefit to the local<br />
Community. The establishment of the Campbelltown Chapter<br />
of Operation Flinders was a fantastic example of how the<br />
Service Clubs and Council teamed up together to provide a<br />
great outcome for young people in the local Community.<br />
Strategic Planning and Development Policy<br />
Committee<br />
This Committee was chaired by Mr David Brown and<br />
comprised Cr James Nenke (until November <strong>2018</strong>, Cr<br />
Marijka Ryan (until November <strong>2018</strong>, Cr Johanna McLuskey<br />
(from November <strong>2018</strong>), Cr Dr Sue Irvine (from November<br />
<strong>2018</strong>), Mr Michael O’Connell (from January <strong>2019</strong>) and Mr<br />
Garth Heynen.<br />
The Strategic Planning and Development Policy Committee<br />
was established pursuant to the requirements of Section<br />
101A of the Development Act 1993 to provide advice to<br />
Council on its Development Plan and other related policy<br />
matters as well as Master and Precinct plans.<br />
The Committee met on four occasions during the year to<br />
consider and provide feedback and direction to Council<br />
with regard to a number of matters including the State<br />
Government Planning Reforms developing strategies to<br />
address the targets in the most recent iteration of The 30<br />
Year Plan for Greater Adelaide and most recently, Council’s<br />
Limited Scope Residential Development Plan Amendment.<br />
Youth Advisory Committee<br />
The Campbelltown YAC (Youth Advisory Committee)<br />
continues to provide a vital link between young people<br />
and Council as well as a forum for youth voice within the<br />
Community and an opportunity for increased understanding<br />
for young people to influence Council decision making.<br />
This Committee has a rotational Youth Chair, and during the<br />

Committee Members for <strong>2018</strong>/<strong>2019</strong> ranged between 14<br />
and 25 years of age. Members worked together to develop,<br />
