NLMK appoints vice president for investment projects<br />
NLMK has named Dmitry Sotnikov as<br />
NLMK Group vice president for investment<br />
projects.<br />
Following the decision by Konstantin Lagutin,<br />
NLMK’s previous vice president for<br />
investment projects, to step down from<br />
the position, Dmitry Sotnikov has been<br />
selected as his successor.<br />

Prior to joining NLMK Group, Dmitry<br />
Sotnikov headed a development company<br />
that executed the construction of a business<br />
park in Moscow, a residential complex<br />
in Yekaterinburg, and a business centre<br />
in Perm, among other large-scale<br />
projects. Prior to 2<strong>01</strong>1 and for almost a<br />
decade, Dmitry held various investment<br />
and operational management positions at<br />
Evraz.<br />

Following the appointment of Dr.<br />
Klaus Keysberg to the executive<br />
board of thyssenkrupp AG, the board<br />
of the thyssenkrupp Materials Services<br />
business area is being partly<br />
restructured.<br />
Martin Stillger succeeds CEO Dr. Klaus<br />
Keysberg as chairman of the executive<br />
board of thyssenkrupp Materials Services,<br />
who moved to the executive board of thyssenkrupp<br />
AG. Martin Stillger has held various<br />
leadership and management positions<br />
at thyssenkrupp Materials Services<br />
since 2008 – most recently as CEO of<br />
thyssenkrupp Schulte and the Western<br />
Europe and Technical Services operating<br />
units.<br />
In addition to the new role of chairman<br />
for Martin Stillger, Ilse Henne, who was<br />
appointed chief operating officer on January<br />
1, 2<strong>01</strong>9, has taken on the new position<br />
of chief transformation officer. The role of<br />
chief operating officer will no longer be<br />
filled.<br />

New nominations to Nucor board of directors<br />
The Nucor board of directors has elected<br />
Leon J. Topalian as a director and John<br />
H. Walker to serve as its non-executive<br />
chairman.<br />
Leon J. Topalian has been chief executive<br />
officer of Nucor since January 1,<br />
<strong>2020</strong>. From 2<strong>01</strong>7 to 2<strong>01</strong>9, he served as<br />
executive vice president and from 2<strong>01</strong>3<br />
to 2<strong>01</strong>7 as a vice president of Nucor.<br />
John H. Walker has served as a member<br />
of Nucor’s board of directors since<br />
2008. He has been employed by Nucor<br />
in various capacities since 1996, including<br />
serving as general manager at two<br />
of Nucor’s facilities, in Arkansas and Illinois.<br />
