Story Overview
Bronze Wing Trading helped the Indian trader to conclude their 3D
Printing consumables deal by providing Standby Letter of Credit –
SBLC MT760 on behalf of the buyer & in favor of the Chinese Supplier.
Solution: BWT Issued
SBLC MT60
Problem:
The Trader Required SBLC
MT760
Challenge:
To Find SBLC Providers
Problem: The Trader
Required SBLC MT760
‣ The Indian trader didn’t have the enough cash funds available to import 3D
Printing supplies, so they decided to choose a supplier who agrees to supply
the products based on the payment term “SBLC.
‣ Accordingly, they chosen the supplier from China who required SBLC in such
a way that can be monetized from their end to get the cash funds needed to
arrange the required goods from the principal supplier.
‣ Understanding the requirements of the supplier, the Indian trader started
working on the process to avail SBLC that can be discounted at the supplier’s
bank.
Challenge: To Find SBLC
Providers
‣ The Indian trader contacted their bank and other private sectors. But all
declined their request by asking cash margin or security to issue MT760.
‣ While searching for SBLC providers, they came across with an advertisement
in “Gulf Business” portal, that says – “Avail LC, SBLC, BG, & BCL for
Importers & Exporters”.
‣ Instantly, they sent an email requesting SBLC with all the details of their 3D
printing supplies deal.
Solution: BWT Issued SBLC
MT760
‣ Our team analyzed their requirement & approved the SBLC request. The
Client signed the service agreement & paid the admin charges to initiate the
work on their transaction.
‣ We started structuring the SBLC draft in such a way that the supplier can do
SBLC discounting from their bank to get cash funds & sent the SBLC draft for
the client’s approval.
‣ The Client approved the draft and paid the SBLC issuance fee charges.
Instantly, we contacted our bank with a request to issue the required SBLC to
the supplier’s bank via authenticated Swift MT760.
End Result: The Supplier Received
the SBLC within 48 Working Hours.
‣ Once the supplier received the Standby LC from the buyer, they contacted
their Bank for SBLC discounting. Since the Supplier maintained a good track
record with their bank, the bank approved their SBLC discounting request &
provided the funds against the issued SBLC to mobilize their export.
‣ The Supplier arranged Printing Supplies from the Principal Supplier &
shipped it to the Buyer’s Destination Port.
