Much of the rest of the magazine focuseson lighter issues, including feature stories on the return of the GSAclub and twins on campus. After already working through one printcycle, our talented staff members learned and improved their craftand I’m excited to see what comes next.Saifiyah Zakihis issue of the Panther Prints pieces together the student body’sTfeelings of anticipation for the holidays, concerns about the futureand the ever-present feelings of stress. Just as semester examsapproach, our centerspread deals with what our students and peersknow to be a pressing and ongoing issue — anxiety and the pressureto perform. I hope our centerspread makes the student body feel seenand gives them the tools they need to stay afloat during exams. OverallI’m proud of the cohesiveness and timeliness of the paper we’veput together, and happy to see the shift in our reporters now thatwe’ve got the ball rolling. I can’t wait for what else we have in store.Gracie WarhurstLetter to the Editorsreally enjoy how there is a story for a lot of unspoken clubs, groups andI people. For example, I didn’t know that the art history teacher bredsnakes. [I also liked the] story on Jordyn Ford about how she plays inthe band as well as being a golden girl. I always saw her make her wayback and forth in between each group and I always wondered how thatworked at games. As for the cover story on sexual harassment, I believeit was very enlighting about a touchy subject. It was very clear on thetopic and had evidence. The photos were very complimentary.Mission Statementt Panther Prints, our mission is to serve as a connection betweenAthe Plano East student body and surrounding communities.
