ABOUT QUAKE
Quake events are weekend retreats created
specifically for youth in grades 6-12. Since 1966, we
have hosted Quake events at hotels and waterparks
across the country. Quake partners with parents
and youth leaders to establish teens in their faith,
empower them for Christian living, and enable them
to live a life of ministry and leadership.
The size of each Quake event ensures smaller group
settings for each of your youth to receive personal
attention. All the programming is planned for you,
including pre and post-event Bible studies. Housing
is at the hotel where Quake is hosted. Meals are not
included, but we have chosen hotels with kid-friendly
restaurants on-site or nearby. Your time at Quake is
spent focusing on building deeper relationships with
your youth and helping them grow closer to Christ,
not worrying about logistics.

WORKSHOPS
At Quake, youth are able to choose workshops to
attend where they will explore topics like spiritual
growth, family, friends, self-esteem, addictions, and
personal gifts. Workshops may include interactive
Bible studies, group-building activities, service
projects, and discussions with the speakers and
musicians. These workshops provide a great
opportunity for youth to grow in their faith and
meet new friends in a structured, safe environment.
Many Quake events also have a workshop or two
especially suited for adult leaders.

Quake programs include dynamic
worship, memorable entertainment,
interactive workshops, and engaging
activities. The weekend schedule
is packed full of opportunities for
personal growth, as well as group
growth, building a unified Quake
community. Enjoy breaks for meals
and devotional time with your group.

SERVICE PROJECTS
Quake believes in the value of being
the hands and feet of Jesus to those
in need around us. Therefore, each
Quake offers an on-site service
opportunity in which youth may
choose to participate. Service
projects benefit those in need locally
and internationally.

RELATIONAL MINISTRY
Quake staff are passionate about youth ministry
and understand that the Gospel does not make
sense outside of relationships. After all, God sent his
Son to come to earth to walk among us and be in
relationship with us!
Musicians and speakers are available to eat meals
with church groups, join in Family Time and simply
love chatting with and getting to know Quake
participants. These artists are Christian role-models
who invest in the faith formation of today’s youth
both on and off stage. Having the opportunity to
spend time getting to know the artists off stage is
a highlight for many youth and adults who attend
Quake and something that really sets Quake apart
from other youth events.
